With over 20 years of experience, we are Farmwalker Films, a creative video production company, based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to crafting films that connect, inspire, and resonate with audiences. 

Technically skilled and creatively daring, we’re passionate about making films that connect, delight, and surprise. Equipped with professional cameras, drones, lighting, and post-production tools, we’re prepared to handle everything from small business video production to large-scale campaigns. 

Dan, a skilled director, cinematographer, and editor, is all about bringing the visuals to life, while Amelia, an accomplished producer and casting director, ensures every detail aligns perfectly. 

At Farmwalker Films, every project starts with a story. We specialise in video production services that balance innovative concepts with cinematic execution, ensuring your message shines through every frame. We work broadly crafting film and video content for small businesses, corporate, education, lifestyle, sport, events, the arts, agriculture and other industrial sectors.

AMELIA FARMER

PRODUCER 

As the co-founder of Farmwalker Films, Amelia is a seasoned content producer with over a decade of experience spanning all forms of video production, from short-form social media content to television commercials. Her portfolio includes award-winning short films, where she ensures that creativity is seamlessly executed and delivered on time. She excels in bringing order, meticulous planning, and a hospitable approach to all productions, adeptly managing scheduling, organisation, and anticipating potential challenges. Amelia’s skill set encompasses producing, writing, casting direction, working with children on set, interviewing, and photography. 

Outside of work, her passions include all things gardening, raising her three children, and dabbling in the world of pottery.

DAN FARMER

DIRECTOR / CINEMATOGRAPHER / EDITOR

Dan has over 15 years of experience directing, shooting, and editing video content. A lifelong passion for filmmaking, sparked during his high school days, led him to study at Footscray City Film and Television School and later complete a Master’s in Film & TV at the Victorian College of the Arts. Known for his innovative approach and knack for experimentation, Dan has worked across feature films, music videos, commercials, and award-winning shorts.

Based in Melbourne, he’s traveled the globe, shooting projects across Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America, always blending a love of storytelling with technical precision. Dan values honesty, character, and the underdog, often embracing rough edges and handmade charm. Unafraid to experiment, he thrives on ingenuity and pushing cinematic boundaries to create meaningful, shareable video content. 

Outside of work, you will find Dan competing in Ultra Marathons, writing feature film scripts and testing out a new piece of camera equipment!
