With over 20 years of experience, we are Farmwalker Films, a creative video production company, based in Melbourne, Australia. 

We’re passionate about making films that connect, delight, and surprise. Equipped with cameras, drones, lighting, audio and all things post-production, we’re prepared to handle everything from small business video production to large-scale campaigns. 

Dan, a skilled director, cinematographer, and editor, is all about bringing the visuals to life. While Amelia, an accomplished producer, interviewer and casting coordinator, ensures every detail aligns perfectly.

Amelia Farmer - Producer

As the co-founder of Farmwalker Films, I’m a seasoned content producer with over a decade of experience.

Short Films. TV Commercials. Online Content.

My work includes award-winning short films, music videos, online content and casting TV commercials for brands such as Coles, Bupa and Jetstar.  I like to think I bring order, meticulous planning, and a hospitable approach to all productions. Furthermore, I ensure the production is seamlessly executed and delivered on time.

I organise the shoot and anticipate potential challenges. My skills are broad – producing, writing, casting direction, working with children on set, interviewing, and photography.

Outside of work, my loves are raising our three children, all things gardening and dabbling in the world of pottery.

I have over 20 years of experience directing, shooting, and editing video content. A lifelong passion for filmmaking, sparked during my high school days, led me to study at Footscray City Film and Television School. I later completed a Master’s in Film & TV at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Known for my innovative approach and knack for experimentation, I’ve worked across feature films, music videos, commercials, events and online content. I have directed and shot award-winning short films.

Based in Melbourne, I have traveled the globe, shooting projects across Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America. I blend a love of storytelling with technical precision. I value honesty, character, and the underdog, often embracing rough edges and handmade charm. Unafraid to experiment, I thrive on ingenuity and pushing cinematic boundaries to create meaningful, shareable video content.

It ain’t just work work work.

Outside of work, you will find me competing in Ultra Marathons, writing feature film scripts and testing out a new piece of camera equipment (always)!
